Registration is now open for Vision Zero Driving Skills for Success (DSFS), a free, hands-on driving program designed to help teens build safer driving habits and gain real-world driving experience.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation will begin mowing a seven-to-ten-foot clearance along shoulders of state highways starting in mid-June to July 1 depending on grass height.

Temporary closure is expected overnight on Interstate 94 Exit 155 westbound ramp in Mandan starting Sunday, May 31. 

The North Dakota Department of Transportation selected 29 projects totaling $10 million to receive funding through its Special Road Fund (SRF) grant program. A complete list of projects is available at www.dot.nd.gov/srf.

Work began today on a bridge replacement project on North Dakota Highway 1806 near Cannon Ball at mile marker 35.

FARGO, N.D. – Crews are expected to begin an overnight project to patch areas of Interstates 29 and 94 inside the Fargo city limits on May 21.

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, northbound and southbound drivers on Centennial Road/Bismarck Expressway will shift to a new configuration on the southeast interchange ramps.

In anticipation of the upcoming travel season, the North Dakota Department of Transportation kicked off the 2026 construction season with a news conference today in Bismarck to discuss upcoming projects and work zone safety. This year’s construction season consists of approximately $700 million in projects throughout North Dakota to enhance the state highway system. 

Traffic changes continue along the Memorial Highway reconstruction project in Mandan as work progresses in the area.
