Reede Construction will implement a traffic switch on Tuesday, Sept. 30, to advance construction along the U.S. Highway 2 and Dakota Parkway corridor in Williston.

Structure repair to the Interstate 94/Red River Bridge is wrapping up. Nightly lane closures from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. will take place over the next two weeks to complete the next phase of the project.

Starting today, Wednesday, Sept. 24, Chateau Road in Medora near the railroad crossing is reduced to one-lane traffic for roadway work, which will take up to three weeks. A one-day road closure is set for Thursday, Oct. 2, allowing BNSF Railway to install new railroad track pads.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) will host public input meetings Monday, Sept. 29th, and Tuesday, Sept. 30th, from 5 to 7 p.m. Central Time to discuss proposed improvements to US Highway 52, from Minot (approximately 2.3 miles west of Junction 79th Avenue Southeast) to Voltaire.

A traffic pattern change is anticipated by the end of the week of September 22. Traffic will shift from the south side to the north side of Pacific Avenue, starting just before the Little Missouri River bridge and continuing through the roundabout at Chateau Road.

Traffic patterns on 34th Street West have changed in Williston as part of ongoing construction.

Beginning Tuesday, September 23, nightly lane closures will be in place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the Interstate 94 (Exit 161) Interchange project as crews begin demolition of the old bridge.

A rest area along Interstate 94 near Lynchburg, N.D., is expected to open Thursday, Sept. 18.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation is seeking comments on an amendment to the 2025-2028 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) to add a previously unpublished project in 2025.
