FARGO, N.D. – Crews are expected to do repair work on Interstate 94 on Thursday, Oct. 8 beginning at 10 p.m.

North Dakota Department of Transportation crews will begin by replacing damaged crash barrels under the 42nd Avenue overpass. Once that work is complete, they will patch holes in both eastbound and westbound lanes of I-94 between the Main Avenue and Veterans Boulevard exits. They will wrap up by 5 a.m.

The crash barrel replacement is necessary for the safety of the public; the patching is to preserve the road and give a better ride to motorists.

NDDOT reminds drivers to slow down and use extra caution in work zones. Up-to-date road conditions and construction information can be found by calling 511 or visiting the ND Roads map at travel.dot.nd.gov.
