North Dakota Highway 32 in Lisbon will temporarily close on Tuesday Nov. 4 at mile marker 35.8 to accommodate rail maintenance on the Red River Valley and Western Railroad crossing. 

The North Dakota Department of Transportation today announced the start of the 2025 Name-A-Plow Contest inviting North Dakotans to submit name ideas for a snowplow in their home district.

Maintenance crews from North Dakota Department of Transportation are expected to sweep Interstates 29 and 94 through the city on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Work is slated to begin at 8 a.m. on I-29 southbound, and will affect at least one lane. Once that is complete, northbound sweeping will begin, continuing to I-94 eastbound and then westbound. Work is expected to be finished by 5 p.m.

A temporary ramp closure is expected to begin Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Interstate 194 eastbound Memorial Highway exit into Mandan.  

The North Dakota Department of Transportation will host a public input meeting Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. to discuss potential improvements at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Airport Drive west of Grand Forks, North Dakota.

The City of Wahpeton will host a public input meeting Tuesday, November 4, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Central Time to discuss proposed improvements to Fourth Avenue South and Fourth Street South in Wahpeton.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 27, westbound I-94 traffic at Exit 161 will shift from the temporary exit ramp to the new exit ramp. This change will allow crews to begin day and night work on the new I-94 west entrance loop.

The City of West Fargo will host a public information meeting Thursday, October 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. to discuss proposed improvements in the River’s Bend neighborhood.

Motorists traveling on Memorial Highway should be prepared for a change in the traffic pattern beginning Thursday, October 23.

The City of Jamestown will host a public input meeting Monday, October 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. to discuss the proposed improvements to 4th Avenue East from 10th Street Southeast to 5th Street Northeast in Jamestown.
