The City of Fargo will host a public input meeting Thursday, August 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. to discuss proposed interchange alternatives at 64th Avenue South and Interstate 29.

Memorial Highway in Mandan will be reduced to two lanes at 46th Avenue Southeast beginning the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 19.

Centennial Road/Bismarck Expressway is scheduled to close overnight between the north Interstate 94 ramps and Trenton Drive. The closure will take place on Tuesday, August 19, between 12:30 a.m. and 5 a.m., for up to 30 minutes, as crews install a new overhead sign structure.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) has released a draft of the 2026-2029 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for public review and comment from Aug. 15 to Sept. 15, 2025. 

Temporary ramp closures are expected Thursday, August 21, at the Interstate 94 westbound exit to South Expressway (Exit 156) and the southbound off-ramp from South Expressway to Main Avenue into Bismarck.

The Pembina River bridge on southbound Interstate 29 at mile marker 214 is scheduled for routine bridge inspection on Aug. 20. Minor traffic delays are expected.

43rd Avenue Southeast will be closed at Memorial Highway for 100 feet for installation of a new water main beginning at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13. The work is expected to be completed and the road reopened by Monday, Aug. 18.

The Tri-Level bridge at the junction of Interstate 29 southbound and Interstate 94 eastbound in Fargo is scheduled to narrow to a single lane Monday, Aug. 18 and Tuesday, Aug. 19 for deck sealing and routine bridge inspection. Minor traffic delays are expected.

The eastbound on-ramp to Interstate 94 from Mandan Avenue is scheduled to close Monday, August 11, from 9 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. in Mandan. Crews will complete bridge deck sealing work during this time.

North Dakota Highway 15 will temporarily close on Monday, August 11, in Thompson to accommodate rail maintenance on the BNSF crossing.
