43rd Avenue Southeast will be closed at Memorial Highway for 100 feet for installation of a new water main beginning at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13. The work is expected to be completed and the road reopened by Monday, Aug. 18.

The Tri-Level bridge at the junction of Interstate 29 southbound and Interstate 94 eastbound in Fargo is scheduled to narrow to a single lane Monday, Aug. 18 and Tuesday, Aug. 19 for deck sealing and routine bridge inspection. Minor traffic delays are expected.

The eastbound on-ramp to Interstate 94 from Mandan Avenue is scheduled to close Monday, August 11, from 9 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. in Mandan. Crews will complete bridge deck sealing work during this time.

North Dakota Highway 15 will temporarily close on Monday, August 11, in Thompson to accommodate rail maintenance on the BNSF crossing.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation is seeking comments on an amendment to the 2025-2028 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) to add a previously unpublished project in 2025.

North Dakota Highway 11 will temporarily close on Wednesday, August 6, near Geneseo at mile marker 147.7 to accommodate rail maintenance on the Dakota Missouri Valley and Western Railroad crossing.

North Dakota Highway 200 will temporarily close this week east of the Interstate 29 Mayville exit, at mile marker 395.9, to accommodate rail maintenance on the BNSF crossing.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin the Highway 83 culvert replacement project on August 4. This project is designed to improve drainage, enhance safety, and extend the life of the roadway. 

Interstate 94/Red River bridge traffic is scheduled to switch from the outside lanes to the inside lanes on Friday, August 1. This change marks a major milestone in the North Dakota Department of Transportation’s I-94/Red River Structure Repair Project.

U.S. Highway 2, known as Gateway Drive in Grand Forks, will temporarily close next week at the intersection of Mill Road/North Fifth Street to accommodate rail replacement on the BNSF Railroad crossing.
