The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is committed to making our information accessible for people with disabilities. We are continually enhancing our websites to ensure that the information, features and content provide a positive user experience for everyone and comply with relevant accessibility standards.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers, developers and content managers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Currently, the NDDOT is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. We are continuing to scan the website with accessibility-checking software, working through a plan to address known issues and attempting to fix new issues as they arise.
