The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and North Dakota Highway Patrol reopened Interstate 29 from Grand Forks to the Canadian border. We anticipate Travel Alerts to remain in place overnight in Grand Forks, Walsh, Nelson and Pembina counties, and urge motorists to drive with caution.

Travel on a closed road is prohibited and extremely dangerous. Conditions are life-threatening.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation plans to close a stretch of Interstate 94 to do cable median repair Thursday night.

The closed lane will be the eastbound left (passing) lane beginning approximately one-half mile east of Veterans Boulevard and ending approximately one-half mile west of Veterans Boulevard; between mile markers 347-348.
