A public input meeting will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Feb. 16 at the Days Inn at 2050 Governor's Drive in Casselton. The meeting will utilize an open house format.

The purpose of the public input meeting is to discuss proposed improvements for the upcoming bridge replacement project at the Interstate 94/Lynchburg Interchange Bridge west of Casselton.

The project consists of replacing the 153rd Avenue Southeast bridge, located over I-94 at mile 328.710. During construction, 153rd Avenue Southeast crossroad traffic will be detoured to bypass the construction site.

Representatives from the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.

If unable to attend the public input meeting, written statements or comments must be mailed by March 3, 2023, to Randall Sandvig, Bridge Division, NDDOT, 608 E Boulevard Ave., Bismarck, ND, 58505-0700 or rsandvig@nd.gov with “Public Input Meeting” in the e-mail subject heading.

The NDDOT will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide:

  • an accessible meeting facility or other accommodation for people with disabilities,
  • language interpretation for people with limited English proficiency (LEP), and
  • translations of written material necessary to access NDDOT programs and information.
