BISMARCK, N.D. — The North Dakota Department of Transportation will host a public input meeting Tuesday May 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. to discuss proposed improvements to the Gateway Drive (U.S. Highway 2) and North Columbia Road intersection in Grand Forks.
The meeting will be held at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences – Room E101, 1301 North Columbia Road in Grand Forks. There will be an open-house format discussion.
The project includes realigning the south approach of North Columbia Road at Gateway Drive, reconstruct curb radii where permissible, replace traffic signal system, replace necessary utility castings, and reconfigure pedestrian path connections at each quadrant.
Representatives from the NDDOT, City of Grand Forks, and Houston Engineering will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.
A pre-recorded presentation and other materials will be available on the NDDOT website at www.dot.nd.gov/public-input.
