About The Project
The Highway 83 Culvert Replacement project will begin August 4, 2025, and is expected to be completed by late October 2025. The project includes replacing the existing structural steel pipe beneath U.S. Highway 83/South Broadway Street with a concrete box culvert, as well as signal replacements and road resurfacing. These upgrades will enhance drainage, improve safety, and extend the life of the roadway.

Traffic Impacts
- Southbound U.S. Highway 83/South Broadway Street reduced to one lane.
- U.S. Highway 2 off-ramp to U.S. Highway 83 closed, with a detour via the U.S. Highway 2/U.S. Highway 52 interchange. Drivers will be routed north on U.S. Highway 52, then west on U.S. Highway 2 to exit at the U.S. Highway 2/U.S. Highway 83 interchange.
