Phase 2 of the Williston U.S. Highway 2 improvement project is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 7. 

This ongoing project supports the long-term infrastructure development of the Williston Square area and surrounding corridors.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) will begin directing traffic through the two temporary loop ramps the week of May 5 as part of the I-94 (Exit 161) Interchange Project. This marks a major change in how drivers enter and exit I-94 at Centennial Road and Bismarck Expressway. These temporary loops will be in use until early fall 2025.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation and Reede Construction, Inc. would like to inform the public of an upcoming road closure related to the Highway 2 Intersection improvement project.

Beginning Friday, April 25, traffic on Centennial Road/Bismarck Expressway will be reduced to one lane in each direction to accommodate ongoing work on the Interstate 94 Exit 161 Interchange project.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation will kick off the Interstate 94/Red River Structure Repair Project next week.

Work will include comprehensive structural repairs, installation of bridge deck overlays, and guardrail replacements to improve safety measures, enhance traffic flow, and extend the lifespan of the bridge connecting Fargo, North Dakota and Moorhead, Minnesota. Motorists should anticipate traffic impacts through the project’s expected completion in October 2025.
