About the Project
The public input meeting is to discuss the proposed reconstruction of 16th Street SW from Burdick Expressway to 2nd Avenue SW.
The project consists of reconstruction, concrete pavement repair, shared-use path construction, new storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and watermain, traffic signal replacement at the Second Avenue Southwest intersection, and new lighting throughout the corridor. Possible roundabout alternatives at the 7th Avenue SW and 5th Avenue SW intersections are also being evaluated.
