GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Concrete pavement repair work is underway along Interstate 29 interchanges from Exit 145 south to Exit 138. Temporary closures and traffic control will be in place as work progresses.
The northbound off-ramp onto North Washington Street at Exit 145 is expected to temporarily close today as crews continue work in that area.
Work is also underway on the DeMers Avenue interchange at Exit 140. Traffic is expected to be maintained on both the northbound and southbound on-ramps. The southbound off-ramp is expected to close for at least one day in the coming weeks. Messaging boards will be in place to guide traffic.
Work is expected to be completed in stages, with all interchanges finished this fall.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation reminds drivers to slow down and be prepared for changing traffic patterns in work zones.
