FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin routine inspections at a number of interstate bridges through the cities of Fargo and West Fargo between June 15-17.
Scheduled dates and locations
June 15
- I-94 eastbound and westbound bridges at mile point 343 over the Sheyenne River Diversion
- Main Avenue (U.S. Highway 10) over Interstate 94 in West Fargo
Inspections will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Flaggers will be on both ends of the bridge if traffic needs to share a single lane during that time. Interstate traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
Speed limits will be reduced and there will be 20-foot width restrictions in place on I-94 bridges. The Main Avenue bridge will have 12-foot width restrictions.
June 16
- 7th Avenue North bridge over Interstate 29 in Fargo
- Main Avenue eastbound and westbound bridges over I-29 in Fargo
Inspections will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Flaggers will be on both ends of the bridge if traffic needs to share a single lane during that time. Interstate traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
On Main Avenue over I-29, speed limit will be reduced and lanes for both eastbound and westbound traffic will be closed as necessary. On 7th Avenue North over I-29, speed limit will be reduced with a single lane closure and there will be a 20-foot width restriction in place.
June 17
- 12th Avenue North bridge over I-29 in Fargo
- 19th Avenue North bridge over I-29 in Fargo
Inspections will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lanes for both eastbound and westbound will be closed as necessary. Speed limits will be reduced and there will be 12-foot width restrictions in place.
