BISMARCK, N.D. — The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) hosted a public input meeting Thursday, January 22, for a drainage project on Interstate 29 near Drayton.

The project consists of replacing four existing drainage crossings located at reference points 200.772 195.012, 194.507, and 193.468. These existing drainage crossings will be replaced with either box culverts or concrete pipe culverts.

It is anticipated that the Bowesmont and Glasston interchanges (Exits 196 and 200) will be closed during construction and detours will be utilized.

Written comments must be postmarked or emailed by February 6, 2026, with “Public Input Meeting-PCN 24686” in the letter heading or e-mail subject. Send all comments to Rebecca King at 608 E. Boulevard Ave, Bismarck, ND 58505 or kingrebecca@nd.gov.
