BISMARCK, N.D. — Temporary ramp and lane closures are expected on Interstate 194 in Mandan starting Monday, June 8.

Maintenance work is scheduled overnight from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should use alternate routes during this time.

Monday, June 8, both southbound on-ramps from Memorial Highway to I-194 (Expressway) will be closed for pothole patching. Once those repairs are completed, the ramps will reopen and crews will close the southbound on-ramp and southbound off-ramp at McKenzie Drive. The southbound driving lane will also be closed from the southbound off-ramp to Memorial Highway south toward the Expressway Bridge area.

Tuesday, June 9, the southbound passing lane will be closed from the Memorial Highway southbound off-ramp to the Expressway Bridge for additional repair work.

Wednesday, June 10, the northbound McKenzie Drive on-ramp to I-194 will be closed for pothole patching. Once repairs are completed, both northbound on-ramps from Memorial Highway to I-194 will be closed for additional patching work.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation would like to remind motorists to slow down and use caution throughout the work zone.
