Temporary lane closures and repairs on Highway 2 expected this week

WILLISTON, N.D. — Reede Construction will be conducting scheduled infrastructure improvements at multiple locations throughout Williston beginning Tuesday, May 5, through Saturday, May 9.

Project Details:

  • 2nd Avenue West and 26th Street West: Sidewalk repairs will require a closure at this intersection. The right-turn lane will be closed during this time.
  • 34th Street West: Curb repair work will take place, and motorists should expect minor disruptions in the area.
  • U.S. Highway 2 and 26th Street West (westbound lane): Asphalt repair and grinding will occur on Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9, resulting in a one-lane closure for westbound traffic.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes when possible, and exercise caution when traveling through work zones. Delays should be expected.
