FARGO, N.D. – Crews are expected to do lane repair projects on the Interstate 29 northbound exit 63A ramp and the Interstate 94 westbound exit 349B ramp overnight in Fargo to provide a smoother and safer road surface.

The two ramps will be temporarily closed to complete this work, beginning at 2:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18. Exit 63A will be repaired first, and then the crew will move to Exit 349A. The ramps will reopen as soon as possible. The crew will then fill potholes where needed on state-maintained roads throughout the metro area until approximately 5:30 a.m.

Drivers are urged to find alternate routes during this period. Ramp closures are expected to last between 20 and 60 minutes.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation reminds motorists to slow down and use extra caution in work zones. Up-to-date road conditions and construction information can be found by calling 511 or visiting the ND Roads map at travel.dot.nd.gov.
