BISMARCK, N.D. — The North Dakota Department of Transportation recently launched a new online scheduling and in-office queuing system designed to improve customer service across the state.
The system will streamline the appointment process for driver and vehicle services during office visits.
“We are excited to roll out the new scheduling system,” said NDDOT Director of Driver and Vehicle Services Brad Schaffer. “This upgrade will allow our offices to run more efficiently and enable us to better serve our customers.”
Customers can now receive text and email notifications for upcoming appointments. This new functionality is expected to reduce no show rates and cut wait times for customers.
Some offices will feature new in-office kiosks which will allow customers to check in, join a digital queue and view real-time updates. Customers can also receive text message updates about their place in line during their visit.
North Dakotans can make an appointment for driver and vehicle services 24 hours a day at dot.nd.gov.
