GRAND FORKS, N.D. — The North Dakota Department of Transportation and the City of Grand Forks will host a public information meeting on Tuesday, May 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. to present information about the grade separation project 42nd Street and DeMers Avenue in Grand Forks.

The meeting will be held at the Center for Innovation’s James Ray Idea Lab located at 4200 James Ray Dr., Grand Forks, ND 58202. The public information meeting will be conducted as an open house. Attendees will have the opportunity to review project information and speak with representatives from the City of Grand Forks, the North Dakota Department of Transportation, and the project team.

The project consists of the construction of a grade-separated crossing at 42nd Street and DeMers Avenue which includes separate bridges for DeMers Avenue and the railroad, reconfiguring some holes at Ray Richards Golf Course, and utility work in the area.

Representatives from the City of Grand Forks, NDDOT, and Bolton & Menk, Inc. will be on hand to answer questions.

The recorded presentation and other materials will be available May 12 on the project website at www.dot.nd.gov/42nd-street-demers-avenue-underpass.
