Question 1

Cadmium plated hardware is not available in small quantities for the wetland mitigation signing. Is galvanized hardware acceptable?

DOT Response

Galvanized hardware is not acceptable with the aluminum signs. We will accept hardware that meets the requirements of Section 894.03 A "Hardware for signs" provided the material will not create galvanic corrosion.
