In regards to the milling and paving operations of the multi-lanes, would it be acceptable to pave a single lane more than one day's run in advance of the adjacent lane in order to eliminate putting live traffic on the milled surface? This is referencing Std Specs. Sec. 430.04H.1. Par. 7.

Per Plan Note 411-P02, Is it the intent that the excess milled material stockpiled at the NDDOT Minot Yard be processed through a separate operation, i.e. crushing, to meet the maximum particle size of 1.5"?

The intent is that the excess milled material stockpile at the NDDOT Minot Yard meets the 1.5" maximum particle size requirement.

Please verify the Traffic Control Quantities shown on Section 100 Sheet 1. The 6ea. rumble strips and rumble strip ahead signs are not usually required on projects inside of lane closures. The other upcoming projects on US Hwy 2 do require them. Please verify the 16ea. Trucks entering/crossing signs shown? Thanks.

Questions will be addressed with addendum 2. The quantity of rumble strips and rumble strip ahead signs will be reduced to 0ea. Note 704-500 Portable Rumble Strips (PRS) will be removed as well. The Trucks Entering/Crossing signs will be reduced to 8ea. Barricades will be reduced to 24ea and Tubular Markers will be reduced to 798ea.
