Submitted Questions for Job 24711 - SS-6-018(094)198 & SS-6-018(093)207

Will e-ticking be required for the shoulder cl 5? We plan to stockpile on the project and reload using a certified loader scale. Moving in a scale will increase aggregate price close to a dollar per ton and hauling direct from the pit to the shouldering machine is not efficient. Please advise

Additional Questions

Is the High Recycled Asphalt Pavement (35%) only required on Project 6-018(093)207 - PCN 24712? Project 6-018(094)198 - PCN 24711 shows a maximum RAP at 25% on Section 10, Sheet 1. Would we be allowed to use 35% RAP for the two tied projects?

DOT Response

As per SP 184(25), "This work consists of providing electronic material tickets (E-Ticket) for all loads of aggregate and Hot Mix Asphalt delivered to the project."  Bid item 109-1000 E-TICKETING has been included in the plans to cover all costs.

High RAP is required on PCN 24712 and will act as the "test" section.  25% max RAP is required on PCN 24711 and will act as the "control" section.
