The allowable pipe list calls out Standard Detail D-714-26 for newly installed pipe backfill. This detail calls out to be used for pipe that is 4’ or less from top of proposed subgrade to top of pipe, but all new pipe is to be installed deeper than 4’. Is this the correct detail for this project? Would Standard Detail D-714-25 be an acceptable alternative to be used for backfilling?
