Plan Note 203-P01 Guardrail Embankment is stated that is will be paid as such. If this is the case, normally the topsoil removal and re-spreading in incidental to this item. Further into the plans on Plan Sheet 130-3 & 130-7 (Guardrail Sheets) it breakdown the borrow quantities needed in each quadrant to complete the guardrail embankments. If it is intended that the guardrail embankments are to be constructed with Borrow Excavation, which it appears is the case, a topsoil line item should be added to the project. If it is intended to be paid for as guardrail embankments, some editing will need to be completed on several sheets. Please clarify.
