Section 77, Sheet 1 shows a rock check, but no riprap size is called out can you please specify what size rip rap is needed to complete this 1 rock check. Thank you!

Use 2 inch to 15 inch diameter rock with 20% by weight exceeding 4 inch diameter for the riprap required to construct the rock check. See Standard Drawing D-256-1 for other details and requirements.

Item 10: Concrete Erosion Control Blanket is custom made for each project. the plans provide the length of each section and an area, but not the width measurement. Will DOT be providing a detail for each location of the exact size/shape the concrete erosion control blanket or will the average of 25ft width be acceptable? at station 4025 RT the shape is not uniform, can DOT provide the dimensions for this area?

DOT Response

Boundaries for each area as shown in the plans will be provided with supplemental design data cadd files. The widths are not listed in the plans since the SP requires following manufacturers specifications and there are many products with varying specs that could affect the installed width.

Plan note 256-P01 states Riprap Grade II and III will be provided. To clarify, we just bid the cost of installation for this item?
