Does the pipe require any type of foundation fill and if so how much?

The pipe bedding and backfill is in accordance with 714.04 A of the standard specifications as shown in section 51 of the plans. Concrete, metal, and Polypropylene pipe should be installed with bedding, backfill, and compaction requirements according to manufacturer's recommendation. The 714 standard drawings do not apply to approach pipe installations.
For removal of structure question see Standard Spec 107.17 A : "Unless otherwise designated in the contract, removed material becomes the property of the Contractor."
