The second series of public meetings is being held to provide an opportunity for the public to provide input regarding potential improvements to transit service in the metro area.
Meetings will be open houses with the consultant, Bis-Man Transit, and the Bismarck-Mandan MPO ready to discuss potential options.
PURPOSE OF THE TRANSIT PLAN
The purpose of the plan is to:
• Work with residents and community leaders to understand strengths and weaknesses of the current Bis-Man Transit system.
• Identify desirable changes to the system to better serve current customers and potential users.
• Prepare a plan of vehicle, facility, and service concepts to meet need and can be funded today and into the future. |
