will begin on Monday, July 23 on I-94 near Beach and Dickinson. Construction
consists of slurry seal which is an application of
oil mixed with aggregate to form a thin surface on top of the existing roadway.
A slurry seal is similar to a chip seal but does not have the loose rocks.
Work will be taking place in the following locations:
- Westbound and eastbound I-94 from the Montana State Line east 12 miles
- Eastbound I-94 from West Dickinson Exit 59 east 11 miles
During the project:
- Speeds will be reduced
- Traffic will be reduced to one lane
- A width restriction will be in place
The NDDOT would like to remind motorists to slow down and
use caution throughout the work zone. For more information about construction
