A Public Input Meeting will be held from 5:00
to 7:00 p.m. on March 8, 2018, at the Williston Community Library, 1302
Davidson Drive, in Williston, ND. The meeting will utilize an open
house format with a formal presentation at 5:30 p.m.
The purpose of the Public Input Meeting is to
discuss proposed improvements to ND 1804 from the Red Mike area west to the
intersection of County 42 (Epping Road). The project consists of an
Environmental Assessment which will analyze the potential environmental,
social, and economic impacts of widening, roadbed restoration, pavement
resurfacing, traffic operations and safety, potential access modifications,
right of way, passing lanes, horizontal and vertical curve corrections, culvert
extensions, roadway realignment, shoulder widening, and incidentals.
There will also be discussion on potential 4 (f) involvement. The meeting will
provide opportunity for public input. Staff from ND Department of
Transportation (NDDOT) and Ulteig Engineers, Inc. will be available to answer
questions.
