Construction begins today on ND Highway 22 from the Heart River Bridge north to 15th St. W in Dickinson. The project consists of resurfacing and pavement marking. Resurfacing work will take approximately one week with pavement marking taking place at a later date.
Traffic will be affected during resurfacing operations July 5-10 as follows:
ND 22 will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction
Intersections will be intermittently closed for a short time as they are sealed
On Sunday, July 9th, ND 22 between Broadway and Villard St. will be temporarily closed as part of the construction project
The frontage road from 10th St W to 12th St. W will be reduced to one way traffic
Speeds will be reduced to 25 mph throughout the project
A width restriction of 10 feet will be in place
Flaggers will be present
The project is expected to take approximately one week, with pavement marking work taking place at the end of July.
