Construction will begin July 10 on ND Highway 17 and US Highway 81 in Grafton. The project will take place on ND 17 from east of the railroad tracks continuing east to the Grafton city limits. Work on US 81 will take place from the west Jct. of ND 17 north to the Park River Bridge. Construction consists of ADA improvements and concrete pavement repair work.
US 81 will have temporary lane closures throughout the project
Temporary traffic signals will be utilized on US 81 from 11th St. to 7th St and from 2nd St to the Park River Bridge for portions of the project
ND 17 will be reduced to two lanes as work takes place on the outside lanes and shoulder
Speeds will be reduced to 25 mph through both work zones
A width restriction of 12 feet will be in place
The project is expected to be completed in mid-August.
