ND Highway 19 will be re-opened from ND Highway
20 to 3rd Ave. NW in Devils Lake as Friday afternoon October 27th.
Motorists should be advised that the intersection of Hwy 19 and Hwy 20 will
convert back to normal stop and go travel as stop signs will be installed at
the intersection. Motorists are advised to use caution through the
intersection as the restrictions have changed.
Traffic and Pedestrian restrictions will
- Pedestrian traffic will open on Hwy 19 north and south sides.
- Pedestrian traffic on Hwy 20 will be restricted to the west side.
- Reminder stop signs will be in affect at the Hwy 19/20 intersection
- A width restriction of 12 feet will be in place on portions of Hwy 20
- Speeds reduced to 25 mph
The Devils Lake Underpass Project
has many phases that will require numerous changes to traffic and pedestrian
flow patterns. Motorists should reduce speeds, follow signs and know that
traffic control will frequently change throughout the duration of the project.
