The Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU) set aside federal funds to be used for transportation enhancements. The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT), through the Local Government Division, administers this program.
